Description

Our Wildflower or Wild Bee Honey is handpicked from
the ecologically abundant dry zone forests of central and north-eastern Sri
Lanka. The hives occur naturally on trees, and are carefully selected in order
to ensure that they continue to function well, long after the harvest. Our
low-impact harvesting practices are inspired by the traditional ecological
knowledge of the island’s indigenous Veddha communities. To maintain healthy
hives, the harvesting occurs over two seasons in a year.
